Polish Wind Energy Pavilion at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024, Led by PWEA

Polish Wind Energy Pavilion at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 showcases Poland’s green energy potential and international collaboration.

The Polish Wind Energy Pavilion, led by the Polish Wind Energy Association (PWEA), is a fixture in promoting Poland’s green transformation leadership. This year’s WindEnergy Hamburg, from September 24-27, will focus on opening the Polish wind market and building a stable supply chain.

    Poland’s Wind Energy Market Potential

Poland is the third-largest wind energy market in the EU, following Denmark and Germany. The Baltic Sea’s potential is significant, with up to 33 GW, enough to meet nearly 60% of Poland’s energy needs. Onshore wind energy could provide around 41 GW by 2040, pending distance regulation changes.

    PWEA’s Role and Vision

PWEA, as Poland’s largest wind energy organization, strengthens Poland’s position in the European wind energy supply chain. The Polish Pavilion will highlight Poland’s onshore and offshore capabilities, with major players like PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna participating. Janusz Gajowiecki, President of PWEA, emphasizes Poland’s active role in Europe’s energy transition.

    Opportunities at WindEnergy Hamburg

The Polish Pavilion offers B2B opportunities, networking, and partnerships. The conference will cover supply chain stability, wind turbine technology, sustainable development, and regulatory issues. Bartosz Fedurek, President of PGE Baltica, stresses the importance of international collaboration for achieving EU renewable energy goals by 2030.
