On Friday, the three-day Master Truck Show kicked off at the airport in Polish Nowa Wieś near Opole, showcasing nearly a thousand different types of vehicles. The event was attended by the Inspectorate of Road Transport, the Police, and a prize ceremony by the Minister of Infrastructure.
For the 19th time, truck enthusiasts, various service vehicles, and professional tuning lovers will gather at the airport in Polish Nowa Wieś. This year’s Master Truck Show has attracted close to a thousand vehicles from all over the country and abroad.
After the official opening of the event, a ceremony will be held to award honorary patrons of the event: the Police, the Inspectorate of Road Transport, and the Minister of Infrastructure.
During the three-day Master Truck Show, visitors will have the opportunity not only to admire vintage and state-of-the-art machines, as well as the impressive effects of truck tuning but also to enjoy a series of concerts, shows of driving skills by truck and motorcycle drivers, car races valued up to a thousand zlotys, and even competitions in towing an ITD patrol car. The organizers have prepared a range of attractions for visitors of all age groups.
Considering the immense interest shown by the audience in previous years, a parking lot for three thousand vehicles has been arranged for the guests. The organizers urge visitors to approach Polish Nowa Wieś from the direction of Opole, preferably with sufficient anticipation, to avoid traffic congestion on the access road due to ongoing road construction nearby. The first guests will be allowed onto the airport grounds at 10 a.m. on Friday. The Master Truck Show is scheduled to conclude at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
