Thousands in Paris protest against pension reform – The French want President Macron to listen

Earlier today, thousands of protesters marched in Paris as trade unions stepped up their campaign to force a policy U-turn by the government on pension reform, including raising the retirement age from 62 to 64. Demonstrators marched with banners, flags and placards denouncing what they say is a refusal to listen on the government’s part.
