The upcoming Three Seas Initiative Summit in Warsaw, scheduled for April 28-29, 2025, could feature a high-profile guest: Donald Trump. The former U.S. President, expected to regain office, may attend the event upon receiving an official invitation after his inauguration.
A Symbolic Return to Poland
Mieszko Pawlak, head of the Presidential International Policy Office, emphasized the potential significance of Trump’s attendance. The 2025 summit marks the tenth anniversary of the initiative, and Trump’s presence would echo his participation in the 2017 summit in Warsaw. “His attendance would provide a symbolic closure,” Pawlak noted.
Hosted by President Andrzej Duda, the summit will gather leaders of member states and strategic partners, including the U.S. The event underscores Poland’s central role in fostering transatlantic collaboration. Formal invitations to heads of state, including Trump, will be issued following his inauguration.
The Three Seas Initiative continues to strengthen political and economic ties across Central and Eastern Europe, with the United States playing a pivotal role. Trump’s participation would reaffirm U.S. commitment to the region.
