Businessman accuses senator Gawłowski of accepting a bribe

Businessman Krzysztof B. admitted during today’s trial at the Szczecin regional court that he had handed a bribe to senator Stanisław Gawłowski. According to the businessman, Gawłowski forced him to finance his election campaign. As the State Prosecutor established, the businessman was to hand Gawłowski, at that time a deputy minister of environment and a prominent politician in the Civic Platform party, a bribe of more than 400,000 zloty.
