    13th “Night at the Institute of Aviation” Offers a Peek into Aerospace Innovations

    Explore aviation history and space innovations at the 13th “Night at the Institute of Aviation” on October 4, 2024.

    The 13th “Night at the Institute of Aviation” will take place on October 4, 2024, from 5 PM to 11 PM in Warsaw. This free event provides a rare chance to explore the labs where cutting-edge aerospace and space research is conducted.

    Highlights include a replica of the pre-war RWD-5 plane, once flown by Polish pilot Stanisław Skarżyński across the South Atlantic in 1933. Attendees can also witness live jet engine demonstrations and explore a technological model of the ILR-33 BURSZTYN 2K rocket, which crossed into space earlier this year.

    Visitors can test flight simulators, experience virtual airshows, and attend lectures. Topics range from aircraft restoration to the recent success of Poland’s space rocket, the ILR-33 BURSZTYN 2K.

    This immersive event celebrates Poland’s aviation heritage while showcasing the latest advancements in aerospace technology.
