Gliński: There is no question of the economy lockdown

The results for the third quarter are optimistic. There is no question of the economy lockdown again, said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and National Heritage prof. Piotr Gliński on Tuesday. Gliński participates in the Economic Forum in Karpacz.

Asked about the opinions of the participants of the Economic Forum in Karpacz who believe that Poland coped well with the crisis comparing to other European countries, and about the reasons for Poland’s success, Gliński said: ‘I think it is the entrepreneurship of Poles. The entrepreneurship that we have been developing very dynamically for years’.

The Deputy Prime Minister recalled that since 1989 ‘Polish national income, speaking colloquially, has increased two and a half times’.

‘This is a great merit of all enterprising Poles, our employees, and after all, the economy is a communicating vessel – these are both employers and employees,’ he assessed. ‘Poles just can work hard,’ Gliński stressed. He pointed out that proper economic decisions also influenced the situation in Poland.

‘At the moment, it is visible that the situation is improving and we look better in comparison to other countries,’ Gliński emphasized.
