The Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg, in connection with the huge rise in COVID-19 infections, appealed to seniors not to leave home when it is not necessary. “Institutions as well as your relatives will ensure that you have what you need, delivered to your home,” she assured.
At the conference at the Family Ministry, the Minister recalled the actions taken by the government for seniors. She also drew attention to the help directed to social welfare homes during the epidemic. Due to the increase in SARS-CoV-2 infections, the minister called on seniors not to leave their homes unnecessarily.
“You are extremely close to us. We want first of all to take care of your health and life, which is why today it is so important that you, if there is no such need, stay at home. Institutions, as well as relatives, will ensure that you have what you need at home.”Marlena Maląg said.
“On the other hand, if there is a need to go out, (…) let’s wear masks, gloves, keep an appropriate distance, so that we can spend this fall 2020 in health, above all, and that you can spend your life in good health with a smile on your face,” she added.
