Last day, 101,079 tests for SARS-CoV-2 were performed, of which 23,380 were antigen tests – said the Ministry of Health on Saturday. This is the highest number since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in Poland.
The Ministry reported that a total of 11,711.826 samples taken from 11,397.901 people have been submitted so far. Since they were given this opportunity, primary care physicians have commissioned 3,113.175 tests to detect the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
In the last 24 hours, 101,079 tests have been performed. 31,757 cases of infections were detected. 448 patients died. There are 28,574 patients with COVID-19 in hospitals, almost 800 more than on Friday. There are 2,823 patients under the ventilator.
To date, 2,221.725 people have been diagnosed with the infection, of whom 51,753 have died.
