April 28 was a record day – we performed 322,000 vaccinations, and more than 810,000 people registered for the next dates, 576,926 of whom were registered for the first dose, the head of the Office of the Prime Minister and the government’s plenipotentiary for the vaccination program, Michał Dworczyk, announced on Thursday.
8,316,698 people received the first dose, according to figures published on the government’s vaccination website on Thursday. The daily number of vaccinations on Wednesday was 331,457.
Since the beginning of vaccination in Poland, that is from December 27 of last year, 11 313 doses have been utilized. At the same time, 6,996 adverse post-vaccination reactions were recorded, most of them mild, with redness and pain at the injection site.
A total of 12,901,190 vaccines have been delivered to Poland, of which 12,628,420 have already been delivered to vaccination centers.
