50 editorial offices publish articles on the anniversary of the Constitution of May 3

Over 50 of the largest editorial offices around the world publish articles as part of the action “We are telling Poland to the world”. The authors included among others the president and prime minister of the Republic of Poland, Polish historians, intellectuals and opinion leaders. The reason for the Institute of New Media’s global project is the 230th anniversary of the May 3rd Constitution.

The texts have been sent to over 50 editorial offices around the world, in the coming days they will be published, among others in France, Germany, Italy, the USA, Russia or distant Japan, informs Eryk Mistewicz, president of the Institute of New Media, initiator and organizer of the project “We’re telling Poland to the world”.

“We treat the 230th anniversary of the adoption of the May 3rd Constitution, the first democratic act in Europe, as an impulse for the storytelling of freedom, democracy, Polish history, but also about the choices of our present day, how Poland is recovering from the pandemic, about the Polish New Deal, about economic patriotism,” says Mistewicz.

“The 230th anniversary of the establishment of the Polish constitution, the first constitution of Europe, should be an inspiring holiday for all of modern Europe,” writes Polish President Andrzej Duda.

Prof. Wojciech Roszkowski, in turn, reminds that “the May 3rd Constitution was an expression of the determination and ability of the national elite to defend the interests of the state.”
