    The Rammstein singer was scheduled to perform at a festival in Russia, instead, he was arrested

    Photos of the detention of Rammstein lead singer Till Lindemann by Russian police have circulated the internet.  The star was later questioned in a hotel room in Tver.

    “Friends, we have received a reply from Till Lindemann.  He was not allowed to perform at our festival and was advised that he could face administrative and criminal liability if he violated the rules.” – were handed over by the organizers of the concert, which was to take place on August 29 at the Maklarin For Homeland festival in Tver. 
     
    Lindemann’s manager, Anar Reiband, was also to be detained.

     

    It was also reported in the media that the very reason for the detention was participation in a festival, which violated regulations concerning mass events.
