The former Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński, the Minister of Infrastructure Andrzej Adamczyk, and the President of the Polish Development Fund Paweł Borys were awarded the title Personality of the Year during Wednesday’s Gala of the 30th Anniversary of the Economic Forum in Karpacz. The Polish Scouting and Guiding Association became the NGO of the year 2020.
During the evening Gala, the most important events of the meeting, which has been organized for three decades in Krynica and Karpacz, were recalled in short film form.
Zygmunt Berdychowski, the originator of the meeting and the head of the Forum’s Programme Council, said that the greatest value of this event, which has been organized for 30 years – currently in Karpacz and earlier in Krynica-Zdrój – is dialogue and discussion.
“We have managed to create this unique institution together – an institution whose greatest value is that we just talk to each other. We have no other plans, we don’t want to involve our guests in any other way. We just want them to talk to each other” – said the President of the Economic Forum Programme Council, Zygmunt Berdychowski.
