The second edition of the Academy of Patriotism is slowly coming to an end. This year, it took off a little later due to problems related to the coronavirus pandemic. The 6th, the last convention takes place on Friday, November 5, during which the project’s students will be presented with diplomas. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawicki will probably be the guest of honour at the convention. The organizer of the Academy is the Władysław Grabski Center, and a strategic partner is KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.
During the five meetings held so far, students of the Academy have explored their knowledge in the field of media, history, economy, and local government. In addition to expert lectures, they participated in practical classes and discussions. The sixth, final congress will be the culmination of the activities so far. It will be held at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, and its guest of honour will be Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki himself, assisted by Adam Andruszkiewicz, Secretary of State in the Chancellery. Both politicians will give occasional lectures for the project participants.
The grand finale of the 2nd edition of the Academy will end with a ceremonial presentation of participation diplomas to all project participants. In the current edition, they met not only in Warsaw but also in Krakow. The meetings took place mainly on weekends. During the summer holidays, a three-day Summer School was also held in Krakow.
