Yesterday there was another escalation of tension on the Polish-Belarusian border. The migrants, encouraged and supplied by Belarusian regime officials, threw stones, logs of wood, and grenades at Polish policemen, soldiers, and border guards. Water cannons were used against the most aggressive people. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, the leader of the Belarusian opposition, published another recording. It shows Belarusian soldiers leading a group of migrants.
“It pains me to see how the situation on the Belarus-?? border develops. I’m ashamed of security forces ill-treating migrants, pushing them to barbwire, provoking clashes. The dictator does everything to make Belarus an outcast country but Belarus mustn’t be equated to the regime,” she wrote on Twitter.
