    In January, the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology to launch

    On January 1, 2022, the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology will start operating. It will include five institutes already operating within “Łukasiewicz”.

    Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology (PIT) will employ approx. 700 people. As announced in a release sent to PAP, it will be the second-largest Łukasiewicz institute in Poland.

     

    “The merger of the Łukasiewicz institutes in Poznań is an opportunity to build a multidisciplinary research and development unit with an international scale of operation. A strong and stable institute with a recognizable brand increases the possibilities of reaching customers with a wide and complementary offer, and gives employees a sense of security and better development opportunities,” said the president of Łukasiewicz Research Network, Dr Piotr Dardziński.

     

    The Łukasiewicz Research Network was established in 2019, its goal is close cooperation between science and business, with an emphasis on the commercialization of research and development works. With over 7,500 employees and a research infrastructure consisting of 440 laboratories and nearly 4,000 devices of key research and development equipment, it is the third-largest research network in Europe.
