There have been explosions in many Ukrainian cities. Russia has carried out missile attacks on infrastructure and border guards – said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Alarm sirens are sounded in Kyiv. The pro-Russian separatists in Donbas have so far attacked Ukrainian troops in Donetsk and Luhansk, according to statements by separatists and news agencies.

“Russia has attacked our military infrastructure, our border guards. There have been explosions in many Ukrainian cities,”

 Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.

He said he had spoken to the President of the United States, Joe Biden.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has declared a state of emergency throughout the country after Russia launched an armed attack on the country on the night of Wednesday to Thursday. In Kyiv, people hear the alarm sirens and the inhabitants evacuate to the shelters.
