Russia came for negotiations to Belarus

A Russian delegation came to Belarus to discuss a possible ceasefire with the Ukrainian side. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rejected the proposal, claiming that he was open to talks, but in a different place.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rejected talks with Russia on Belarusian territory on Sunday, stressing that Minsk is a party to the conflict.

However, he assured the Russian side that he was open to negotiations elsewhere.

According to the representatives of Zelensky’s Chancellery, the Russian delegation had already arrived in Gomel, Belarus, to meet with the Ukrainians, but was aware that there would be no talks.
