Volodymyr Zelensky reported today that Ukraine is forming an International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine.
In a video posted on the website, the Ukrainian president stated that the Legion would operate within the territorial defence forces. Zelensky said that those who want to join the resistance against the Russian occupiers and the defence of world security are invited to join him.
“This will be an important demonstration of your support for our country,” he said.
Foreigners willing to defend Ukraine and world order as part of the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine, I invite you to contact foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine in your respective countries. Together we defeated Hitler, and we will defeat Putin, too.
