The well-known Ukrainian singer Tina Karol, who was evacuated from Kyiv to Poland, took part in Tuesday’s march. “I will fight for the truth so that the Ukrainian national anthem can be heard,” she said.
Vladimir Putin has ordered a disgraceful attack on Ukraine. In recent days, Russian troops have been committing numerous war crimes. They bomb homes, kill civilians, even shell hospitals and kindergartens. The clubs of the “Gazeta Polska” organised a peace march to express their solidarity with Ukraine and their rejection of Vladimir Putin’s brutal actions.
The march went through the streets of Warsaw on Tuesday. At its head was the star of the Ukrainian music scene Tina Karol, who fled to Poland from Russian aggression.
“I will fight for the truth so that the anthem of Ukraine is heard everywhere! I created the International Center for Information Resistance, headquartered in Warsaw, where we work around the clock to convey to ordinary people around the world the real picture of affairs in Ukraine,” said the artist.
