“Russia is bringing people from the annexed Crimea to the cities it occupies in southern Ukraine. They are supposed to show happiness with the arrival of Russian troops,” Vadym Denysenko, an adviser to the Ukrainian Interior Minister, reported.
According to him, Russia has sent several buses to southern Ukraine with alleged inhabitants of Kherson, Melitopol and other cities currently under the control of its armed forces. “These people are supposed to show their joy at the arrival of the Russian troops,” he added.
As Denysenko pointed out, for example, on Thursday a car with some food arrived in Melitopol. There was a queue of about 50-60 people and they took photos to show how happy the supposed inhabitants of the city are and how they thank the “Russian Myr” for “saving them from the Ukraine regime.” “The same situation will now be in Kherson and other cities”, he warned.
