Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant: “Nobody knows what’s going on out there.”

    – The situation at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station is dangerous. Because of Russia’s activities, it was cut off from power. Now, nobody knows what is going on there – the adviser of the administration of the Ukrainian President Mikhail Podolak told the Ukrainska Pravda.

“The overall situation in Chernobyl is very dangerous. Due to the actions of the occupiers, the stable power supply of objects was interrupted, which simply should not be left without power. This is a threat to the whole of Europe. And of course, for Russia itself,” stressed Podolak

He added that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) no longer receives the mandatory data from the safeguards system and no one knows what is going on there.

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk called for access to the Chernobyl power plant “to repair the damage.”

“We ask the world community to focus on this problem,” she explained.
