Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we have seen terrible reports of what is happening in Ukraine. Every day, we see the Russian army killing innocent people. In recent days, there have been reports of a genocide that took place on the grounds of Bucha, a city in the Kyiv region.
Yesterday, shortly before 7:00 p.m., the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published a statement on Twitter accusing NATO and the US of the genocide in Bucha.
“All the photos and videos published by the Kyiv regime in Bucha are just another provocation,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia cited the Ministry of Defence on Twitter.

“During the time, Bucha had been under the control of the Russian Armed forces, NOT A SINGLE resident has suffered from any violent action. Moreover, Russian servicemen have distributed 452 t of humanitarian aid to civilians,” we can read in the next post.
“This is genocide, indeed. This is the destruction of an entire nation, our people. We are citizens of Ukraine, and more than 100 nationalities live in our country. This is about the destruction of all these nationalities,” President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said on the air of the American television channel CBS.
“Ukraine does not want to surrender to Russia — this is the reason why we are being destroyed. And this is happening in Europe in the 21st century. This is the torture of an entire state,” he added.
“The whole world is shocked by the terrible massacre in #Bucha. The occupiers deliberately killed civilians. We collected evidence of this genocide for the whole world to see,” NEXTA wrote on Twitter.

“The crime of genocide must be punished, properly described, documented and condemned. We propose that an international committee be set up to investigate this crime,” Chancellery of the Prime Minister cited Prime Minister’s words.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken also referred to the situation in Bucha and Russia’s statement.
“We strongly condemn apparent atrocities by Kremlin forces in Bucha and across Ukraine. We are pursuing accountability using every tool available, documenting and sharing information to hold accountable those responsible,” Blinken wrote on Twitter.

There is no doubt that yesterday’s statement is a mere bypass of NATO and the United States.

EU countries exported weapons to Russia during 2015-2020, despite the embargo – France and Germany supplied the most weapons to Russia! ??That is, we are being killed with European weapons, while our people are defending Europe, including at the cost of their own lives! #Bucha pic.twitter.com/GU5ssdN2yv

#Bucha will be in the hearts of Ukrainians as fresh in 100 years as Katyn is in the hearts of Poles today.https://t.co/aeDtvWEirP
