Everyone knows that according to Polish culture and folklore, the arrival of storks is a sign of spring. By tradition, they are not only believed to bring luck but also “bring children” to this world. After the winter migration, the first storks in 2022 arrived in Poland.
Storks most often choose the northern and eastern regions of the country. The most numerous populations inhabit Ostoja Warmińska, Suwałki Region, Biebrza Valley, Narew and Bug.
