Natalia Kaczmarek won the 400 m race during the 61st Golden Spike meeting in Ostrava. The Pole won with a sensational time of 50.16, which is the best time in Europe this year and the second-best time in the history of Polish athletics.
Kaczmarek presented a sensational form in the Czech Republic. Faster in the history of Polish athletics ran only the legendary Irena Szewińska – 49.28 in 1976.

Anna Kiełbasińska, who was third with the second-best result in Europe this year – 50.38, also presented herself very well in Ostrava. Both Poles set their life records.
Justyna Święty-Ersetic, who was fifth on Tuesday, also achieved a very good time – 51.09.
