The first-ever Gorzów Jump Festival, part of the World Athletics Indoor Tour Bronze, took place on January 30 in Arena Gorzów. The event saw outstanding performances, including a sensational 1.98m high jump by Poland’s Maria Żodzik—the second-best mark in Polish history and the current world-leading result. Żodzik attempted 2.00m but narrowly missed. Among the men, Greek athlete Antonios Merlos claimed victory with a 2.20m jump. In long jump, USA’s Marquis Dendy dominated with 7.84m, while Poland’s Anna Matuszewicz won the women’s event with 6.61m.
