On the weekend of June 11-12, 2022, after the reconstruction and major renovation, the largest planetarium in Poland with an ultra-modern, hybrid projector system, projecting an image in over 8K technology will be opened! A completely new project named Planetarium – Silesian Science Park is ready. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki participated in the grand opening of the science park. It will be an inspiring tool for children and young people to learn and at the same time experience a space adventure.
Planetarium – Silesian Science Park is one of the most important investments carried out by the Marshal’s Office of the Silesian Voivodeship. On the opening weekend (June 11–12, 2022), there will be an opportunity to see space shows both day and night. The first screening for the audience will take place on Saturday, June 11 at 12:00.

Moreover, Silesian Science Park includes a new projector that can display 100 million stars. Among others, visitors can see three exhibitions around the themes of seismology, meteorology and astronomy.
