The Ukrainian General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that in the “Kharkiv direction, the enemy is conducting defensive operations and is trying to improve the tactical position in certain areas. Shelled the surroundings and the city of Kharkiv with barrel and rocket artillery, as well as the areas of the settlements of Udy, Dementiivka, Lebyazhe, Pischane, Zamulivka, Petrivka, Pytomnyk, Mospanove, Korobochkyne, Slatyne, Svitlychne, Shevelivka, Peremoha, Verkhniy Saltiv, Nove, and Bayrak. Near Dementiivka, our defenders repelled the enemy’s assaults twice and pushed them back. The enemy launched an airstrike near Petrivka.”
“In the Slovyansk direction, the enemy is trying to improve the tactical position of its units. The areas of Dolyna, Mazanivka, Krasnopilla, Husarivka, Novopavlivka, Chervony, Virnopilla and Khrestyshcha were shelled with mortars, barrel and rocket artillery. As a result of fire damage, the enemy’s offensive actions in the area of the settlement of Bohorodycne were choked. The occupiers, with losses, withdrew.”
“In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy shelled civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Siversk, Serebryanka, Karpivka, Slovyansk and Kryva Luka settlements. An airstrike was recorded near Tetyanivka.”
“In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy fired at our positions near Spirne, Ivano-Daryivka, New York and in the area of the Vuhlehirska TPP. It carried out airstrikes near Berestove and Pokrovske.”
What is more, the shelling from mortars, barrel and rocket artillery continues in the Avdiyivka, Kurakhivka, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia directions.
Russian forces attempted to push in the vicinity of the village of Velyke Artakove in the South Buh direction but were repulsed. “There remains a great threat of missile strikes on critical infrastructure in the region,” General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed.

In Melitopol, in the Zaporizhia region, Russian forces are deploying heavy weapons on residential areas, the mayor of this Russian-occupied city, Ivan Fedorov, reported.
“Just a few hours ago, we received a message that access to one of the microdistricts of the city – Novy Melitopol, where more than 30,000 people lived in peacetime – was blocked.
