Promised Land Art Festival 2022 in Łódź

The Promised Land Festival is held under the auspices of Łódź City Council as part of the “Łódź Creates” (“Łódź Kreuje”) and “EC1 Łódź – The City of Culture” (“EC1 Łódź – Miasto Kultury”) promotional programmes. The event gives an opportunity to meet professionals working in film, gaming, and other creative industries. “Promised Land” is a place for the exchange of knowledge and experience, for networking, and crossing the divide between the digital and the traditional arts.

Open Day will give the participants of the event various attractions. There will be, among others, discussion panels and lectures conducted by veterans of the industry on topics related to the creation of games, films, animations, and broadly understood pop culture – including a panel with participants of the “Girls in the game!” scholarship and mentoring program organized by CD PROJEKT RED studio and the Perspektywy Foundation. Grzegorz Rosiński, an internationally recognized comic book creator, has also confirmed his participation in Open Day. The artist will meet the audience and lead a live drawing session.

Besides, the programme of the event will include:

    – meetings with the artists
    – various lectures, including “Art and Visual Perception – How We Feel Images and What We Can Learn from Art Classics” and “Biz Dev Academy: A Couple of Facts About Gamedev.”
