    Minister Rau to meet with his Slovakian counterpart

    On October 11, Rastislav Káčer will make his second foreign trip as Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic. He will visit Warsaw, demonstrating the importance of Polish-Slovak relations.

    Ministers Rau and Káčer will discuss the state of bilateral relations, as well as the current situation in Ukraine, focusing on the possibilities of supporting the common neighbour in the face of the Russian invasion. The visit will also herald the imminent 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Slovakia, which those countries will celebrate on January 1, 2023. Security, energy, and regional cooperation will also undoubtedly be important topics of discussion.
