    Belarus breaks off the agreement with Poland

    Belarus has broken the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Poland on the Recognition of Equivalence in Higher Education, Equivalence of Academic Degrees and Degrees in Arts. The information was reported by the Belarusian media today.

    The decision to break the agreement, signed by the Prime Minister of Belarus Raman Halouchenko, was published today on the website of the Belarusian government, although it was formally signed by him on Tuesday and came into force on the day of signing.

     

    The agreement was drawn up in Warsaw on 28 April 2005 and entered into force on 12 December of the same year.
