Police have received notification that the corpse of a 26-year-old woman has been found in her flat in Oświęcim (Małopolskie). Police reported finding her 5-year-old daughter, who had been abducted. Child Alert had previously been issued.
The information was provided on Saturday evening by the press officer of the Oświęcim police, Małgorzata Jurecka.
“The prosecutor overseeing the case ordered to secure the corpse to conduct an autopsy,” Jurecka said.
Małopolska police spokesman Sebastian Gleń said the woman’s body had been found by her father. The injuries may indicate a homicide.
According to the oswiecim.naszemiasto.pl portal, the 26-year-old’s partner is 25-year-old Norwegian citizen Ingebright G., who is believed to have taken their five-year-old daughter with him.

The portal faktyoswiecim.pl reports that the woman, whose body was found in a flat on the Chemików estate, had visible cut wounds.
Police have activated Child Alert. After 11 pm it was reported that the child had been found.

Thanks to information from @PolskaPolicja (Polish National Police – ed.) the vehicle in which Mia was present was detained in Denmark by Danish officers. Thank you for your cooperation and quick communication,” we read in the communique on Twitter.
