Revenues of the 2000 largest companies in Poland are growing more than twice as fast as the entire economy – “Rzeczpospolita” reported on Thursday.
The ending year is successful for the largest companies. – After 2019, very good economic situation in Poland, the economic situation in 2020 will also be good, although the economic slowdown resulting from weaker foreign demand will be more marked – said for “Rz” Arkadiusz Krześniak, chief economist at Deutsche Bank Polska. The leader of List 2000 is Polski Koncern Naftowy Orlen, before Jeronimo Martins Polska and Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo. As the newspaper reports, the next edition of the 2000 List will probably also show an increase in revenues. “The GDP dynamics in 2019 was about 4.2 percent, and in 2020 it will probably be 3.6 percent, which means a moderate slowdown” – explained for “Rz” Krześniak.
