    Russia is attacking Poland again

Russian continues to lie about and to provoke Poland. The Kremlin claims it is defending historical truth. The lies and historical manipulation by the Kremlin were condemned by a majority of MEPs during a debate in the European Parliament yesterday.

Leonid Słucki, chairman of the Duma foreign affairs committee, said in an interview with the TASS agency that Russia wants to submit a draft resolution to the Council of Europe condemning Poland for “attempting to fake historical truth”.

”Our role is consistently to convey the truth to those who are not aware of what is happening today in Warsaw”.

In turn, the chairman of the Russian Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, in a reaction to Slutsky’s statement, said that the concentration camps in Poland were “not built by accident”, because before the war the authorities of the Second Republic of Poland supported anti-Semitism,. The deputy head of the European Commission, Viera Juorova, announced that the Commission would not allow Russia’s manipulation, and in the opinion of MEP’s, all group members should agree on this matter.

”Polish diplomacy must react as soon as possible, and all parties should clearly oppose and speak with one voice”- says Miłosz Motyka, Polish People’s party.

”First of all, Poland should stop taking coal from Russia”- says Robert Kropiwnicki, Citizens’ Coalition.

Politicians have no doubt that the statements made by Russian politicians are certainly not the last instalment of the Russian propaganda war against Poland. Its biggest manifestation will be the speech of Vladimir Putin in Israel during the celebrations commemorating the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp in Yad Vashem on January 23.
