New Year’s Eve will be rather warm, so one can welcome the New Year outdoors. A spokesman of IMGW advises remembering about the umbrella in order not to drink champagne with rain, especially in the north of the country.
It will cool down for a while after Christmas. Temperatures at night will drop gently below zero. The minimum temperatures are expected to be from around minus 3 degrees C to minus 1. Later, around 30 and 31 December, warmer air will flow into Poland again, IMGW spokesman Grzegorz Walijewski informed.
Both the last day of this year and the first day of the new year promise to be relatively warm. Thermometers will show up to 10 degrees C.
Residents of Lubuskie region, northern Wielkopolska, Pomorskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie who intend to celebrate the arrival of the new year in the fresh air should put on rain jackets and take an umbrella so that it does not drip into their glasses, an IMGW spokesman advises.
