    Estimated reading time: 1 minute

Andrzej Duda, the Polish president, announced that he and the US president had explored the potential of collaborating on the manufacture of military equipment.

At a meeting of the National Security Council (RBN) on Friday, Duda stated that he and Biden had discussed the topic during the latter’s trip to Warsaw earlier in the week.

“I spoke with President Joe Biden about launching a partnership in the production of military equipment, for instance, munitions,” Duda said.

He mentioned, however, that there had been no conversations regarding the provision of planes to Ukraine.

Duda stated that Poland would give Ukraine its Soviet-era MiG-29 aircraft prior to providing F-16 jet fighters since Ukrainian pilots are already accustomed to them and would be able to utilize them right away.

Mateusz Morawiecki, the Prime Minister of Poland, declared on Friday that his country is prepared to provide training to Ukrainian pilots on the American F-16 fighter jets.
