    Euro 2024: Poland defeated Albania

Poland’s national team’s first win in the Euro 2024 qualifiers. The white-and-reds defeated Albania 1:0 at the National Stadium, with Karol Świderski’s goal deciding the fate of the match.

Poles entered a meeting in a sour mood this week, following a 1:3 defeat to the Czech Republic last Friday. To make matters worse, Matty Cash was injured with a calf injury, meaning he will be out of the game for an extended period. It was Swiderski who secured the win for the Poles in 41 minute.

Poland secured their first win in European Championship qualifying on Thursday, climbing to second place in Group C with three points. The Czech Republic remain in first place with four points after their goalless draw with Moldova. Poland will face Moldova in Chisinau on June 20th in their next qualifying match.
