The Head of the International Policy Bureau of the Polish President announced that Polish President, Andrzej Duda, has extended an invitation to King Charles III to visit Poland. The invitation was made with the hope of strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
Marcin Przydacz, the Head of the International Policy Bureau of the Polish President, announced on Saturday that President Andrzej Duda has sent a congratulatory message to King Charles III, inviting him to visit Poland.
Przydacz noted that the king had previously visited Poland multiple times while serving as the Prince of Wales. Despite knowing that the king’s priority is to visit member states of the Commonwealth of Nations, Przydacz expressed the hope that the visit to Poland would still take place.
On Saturday, President Andrzej Duda and his wife, Agata Kornhauser-Duda, travelled to London to attend the coronation ceremony of King Charles III and his wife, Queen Camilla, at Westminster Abbey.
Following the coronation ceremony, President Andrzej Duda took to Twitter to extend his congratulations and best wishes to King Charles III and Queen Camilla on behalf of the Polish people.
According to a statement from the President’s Office, President Andrzej Duda held several meetings while in London, including with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and the Presidents of Lithuania, Finland, Portugal, and Italy. Additionally, the President had a meeting with Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.
