With the arrival of summer vacation, the police officers of the Krosno County Police Command, firefighters, and representatives of the County Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Krosno Odrzańskie have initiated inspections of colonies, semi-colonies, and camps taking place in the county. Such coordinated actions by the authorities allow for a comprehensive review of whether the organizers have fulfilled all the necessary formalities related to ensuring the safety of participants during their summer holidays.
From the first days of vacation, colonies, semi-colonies, and camps have commenced in the Krosno County, consequently leading to inspections. As in previous years, these inspections are carried out by police officers, firefighters, and representatives of the County Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Krosno Odrzańskie. The joint efforts of these three entities enable a thorough assessment and provision of safety during organized recreational activities. This approach effectively helps identify any potential risks and issues while enforcing compliance with regulations and provisions concerning the organization. The inspectors verify, among other things, the legality of the organized leisure activities, whether children are under the care of qualified staff, and whether the conditions in which they stay pose any threats to their safety. In addition to the inspections, as part of the “Safe Holidays 2023” and “Water Safety Matters to Me” initiatives, the police officers and firefighters also engage with the participants, discussing safety measures during the vacation period.
On Wednesday, June 28th, the authorities visited a recreational center in Dąbie, where participants of two organized forms of leisure, colonies and camps, are currently enjoying their time. Such meetings and inspections will continue until the end of the summer vacation period.
