Border Crisis & Wagner Group in Belarus: Poland’s Response to Illegal Crossings from Belarus

Due to the increased number of attempts to illegally cross the Polish border from the Belarusian side, the Interior Ministry decided to support the border, with additional numbers of border guards, soldiers and police. In addition to the influx of immigrants, the rebellion of Yevgeny Prigozhin and the decision to deploy the Wagner Group in Belarus is a concerning sign.
