    Berlin refuses to pay reparations 84 years after Germany attacked Poland

    On September 1st, 1939, the German army, without a declaration of war, crossed the borders of Poland at dawn. Thus began World War II – the bloodiest conflict of the 20th century. To date, Germany has not paid for the war damage it caused. Poland estimated them at over 6 trillion zloty.
