The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has unveiled the schedule for this year’s Men’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL), and the Polish team is set for an exciting journey. Under the guidance of coach Nikola Grbić, the Polish squad will face a series of challenging opponents in the 2024 VNL season.
First Week: Antalya, Turkey
The Polish team will kick off their campaign on May 22 in Antalya, Turkey, against the United States at 7:00 PM. This will be followed by matches against Canada on May 23 at 4:00 PM, the Netherlands on May 24 at 7:00 PM, and Slovenia on May 26 at 1:00 PM.
Second Week: Japan
In the second week, the action moves to Japan, though the exact location is still to be confirmed. The Polish team will face Bulgaria on June 4 at 8:30 AM, Turkey on June 6 at 12:30 PM, Japan on June 7 at 12:20 PM, and Brazil on June 8 at 8:30 AM.
Third Week: Ljubljana, Slovenia
The third week will see the Polish team competing in Ljubljana, Slovenia. They will play against Italy on June 19 at 20:30, Argentina on June 21 at 1:00 PM, Serbia on June 22 at 04:30 PM, and Cuba on June 23 at 1:00 PM.
Finals in Łódź
The final tournament, featuring the top eight teams, will take place in Łódź from June 27 to June 30. The quarterfinals are scheduled for June 27 and 28, with matches at 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The semifinals will be held on June 29, and the tournament will conclude with the third-place match at 5:00 PM and the final at 8:00 PM on June 30.
