The shocking incident has shaken the quiet town of Biały Dunajec in the Małopolska region. A 14-year-old boy was found dead in a local guesthouse on Tuesday, August 21. The boy’s father has been charged with murder following an intense investigation by local authorities.
The horrifying crime was discovered early Wednesday morning when police received a call at 7:30 AM reporting the death of a teenager at a guesthouse in the Stołowy district of Biały Dunajec. Upon arrival, officers found the lifeless body of the 14-year-old and immediately took his father into custody. Two younger brothers of the victim were also present at the scene.
According to unofficial reports from RMF FM, the father allegedly slit his son’s throat. The suspect was interrogated by the police, and the District Prosecutor’s Office in Nowy Sącz has confirmed that the man has been formally charged with murder. A post-mortem examination of the boy’s body is scheduled for Friday.
Investigators are considering ordering a psychiatric evaluation of the father, who now faces the possibility of a life sentence if convicted. Due to the sensitive nature of the case and to protect the family’s privacy, authorities have not disclosed further details.
