    Polish Paralympians Triumph in Paris with Multiple Medals Across Disciplines

    Polish athletes are making waves at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, securing multiple medals across various disciplines. Lucyna Kornobys added to her impressive Paralympic resume by winning a silver medal in the women’s shot put F34 category, achieving a season-best throw of 8.33 meters. This marks her third consecutive silver, following similar successes in Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo.

    In shooting, Marek Dobrowolski delivered a strong performance, earning a bronze medal in the 50m rifle three positions (R7) event. His achievement further bolsters Poland’s medal count at these Games, highlighting the team’s overall strength.

    Table tennis has also been a fruitful arena for Poland. Natalia Partyka guaranteed herself at least a silver medal with a narrow 3:2 victory in the WS10 semifinals against Shiau Wen Tian of Taiwan. She will compete for gold in the final on Wednesday.

    Rafał Czuper added to Poland’s medal haul in table tennis by defeating Italy’s Federico Crosara 3:1 in the MS2 class, securing his place on the podium. Similarly, Patryk Chojnowski advanced to the MS10 final after a 3:1 win over France’s Mateo Boheas, marking his second medal of the Paris Games after earlier success in doubles.
