Tensions Rise in the December 13 Coalition: “They’re all recording each other, snitching on one another…”

“It’s clear this is not just a coalition of deceivers, but also of informers,” said Law and Justice (PiS) MP Janusz Kowalski on TV Republika. “They’re all spying on each other, secretly recording conversations, reporting on one another — they don’t trust each other at all. They’re not dealing with the real issues that matter to Poles. They’re not tackling inflation. The fact that Michał Kamiński spoke about this publicly only makes me wonder what’s really going on behind the scenes of Donald Tusk’s corrupt administration and this whole coalition.”

Kowalski was responding to recent developments in the Senate, where a senator from the Polish People’s Party (PSL) accused Senate authorities of surveillance.

“Today something happened to me in politics that I’ve never experienced before. My driver was asked to spy on me — asked by officials working under Marshal Kidawa-Błońska in the Chancellery of the Senate,” the PSL senator alleged.

The crisis in the Senate was widely discussed on TV Republika. PSL MP Jan Strzeżek believes that Michał Kamiński deserves an apology.

“I’m not surprised the Marshal reacted so nervously. At any given moment, someone can know where he is, what he’s doing, where he’s going. There are endless ways to track his movements. I hope this situation is clarified soon. Perhaps the staff member who alerted the Marshal was simply overzealous. But the fact is, that kind of email should never have been sent to a subordinate. I hope Marshal Kamiński receives a proper apology and that the issue is fully investigated,” Strzeżek said.

Meanwhile, PiS politician Janusz Kowalski reiterated his belief that “this isn’t just a coalition of liars, but of snitches.”

“They’re all recording each other, spying, and reporting on one another. They’re obsessed with surveillance and completely lack trust. And instead of addressing important issues for Poland, like inflation, they’re consumed by internal power struggles. If Kamiński is saying this publicly, I can only imagine what’s going on behind the facade of Tusk’s corrupt government,” Kowalski emphasized.

He went on to say the coalition should fall apart as soon as possible.

“I’m convinced it will collapse, especially once Karol Nawrocki becomes president. I have a message for everyone: record everything, copy documents, and keep them if you’re being told to break the law. When we return to power, from day one we’ll hold Tusk, Bodnar, and Giertych’s entire gang accountable. Record them — it will definitely be useful in court,” Kowalski added.
