    Important talks by NATO leaders. President Duda satisfied: “Declarations beneficial for Poland”

    Before the meeting of NATO leaders President Andrzej Duda stressed that he was satisfied with the prepared declarations which will be discussed. “I hope that they will be accepted by the leaders of states and governments in the form in which they have been negotiated,” he noted.

    – I am very pleased with the draft from the final declaration that has been worked on recently. It contains some very important statements for Poland – stressed president Andrzej Duda before the meeting.

     

    – I hope it will be accepted by the Heads of State and Government in the form in which it was negotiated – he added.

     

    President Andrzej Duda is representing Poland at a one-day meeting of leaders of NATO countries. He is accompanied by Minister of National Defence Mariusz Blaszczak. The main topic of discussion will be the “NATO 2030” initiative, designed to strengthen the Alliance’s unity and prepare it for the challenges of the future.

     

    This morning, Presidential Minister Krzysztof Szczerski revealed on Polish Radio that the prepared documents, which the leaders will discuss on Monday, “are extremely beneficial for Poland, confirming NATO’s commitment to the development of collective security of defence “. As he added, the prepared conclusions “directly refer also to several matters important for Poland”. 

     

    He pointed out that if the conclusions are accepted by the leaders of NATO countries in the shape in which they have been prepared, “Poland is one of the important beneficiaries of the summit”.
