Matt Schlapp Defends TV Republika: “This Is Leftist Fascism”

Matt Schlapp, Chairman of the American Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), has spoken out strongly in defense of Telewizja Republika after a Polish court issued a non-final decision to revoke the station’s broadcasting license. Although the ruling is not yet legally binding, it could result in the channel being removed from the MUX platform—potentially cutting off millions of viewers from one of Poland’s last independent conservative TV networks.

In a post on X, Schlapp stressed that this move by the Polish court is part of a broader international trend of silencing conservative voices.

The CPAC chairman has appeared numerous times on TV Republika, giving interviews and sharing commentary from a conservative perspective. He emphasized that the attempt to silence the channel is a direct attack on free speech and democracy.

Schlapp’s statement is yet another example of growing international support for the station, which for years has provided an alternative political narrative often absent from mainstream media.
