Karol Nawrocki has made it clear that his mission is to protect Poland’s economy, agriculture, and national identity. Speaking in Łęczyca, he laid out his vision for a strong, independent Poland that stands up for its people against foreign interests.
Protecting Polish Farmers and Industry
Nawrocki didn’t hold back when addressing the threats to Polish agriculture. He warned that diseases from German farms could devastate Polish livestock and called for immediate action.
“If there’s a risk of foot-and-mouth disease spreading just kilometers from our border, we need to act now and block imports from Germany,”
he said firmly.
He also defended Polish coal mining, saying that until the country achieves full energy independence through nuclear power, the government must protect this key industry.
“We can’t let radical environmental policies destroy Polish businesses. Until we have nuclear power, we must protect our own energy resources,”
he declared.
Strengthening Poland’s Global Influence
Nawrocki praised President Andrzej Duda’s efforts in building strong ties with the U.S. and insisted that Poland should take on a leadership role in the EU’s transatlantic relations.
“Poland should be the leading voice in Europe when it comes to relations with Washington. We must push for economic growth, technological advancements, and security to ensure a strong and prosperous future,”
he urged.
A President for the People, Not the Political Elite
Unlike many career politicians, Nawrocki takes pride in his outsider status. He’s not a party insider but a man who has dedicated his career to serving Poland.
“Law and Justice (PiS) is the only party that was willing to support a candidate who has never been a politician, someone who has served the country in key institutions rather than chasing power,” he pointed out.
Demanding Truth and Justice for Poland
One of the most emotional moments of his speech came when discussing the tragic history of Polish victims in Volhynia. He criticized Prime Minister Donald Tusk for misleading the public into believing there had been progress on exhumations.
“This is not a political game—this is about honoring those who were brutally murdered. The Polish government should act as one on this issue,”
he stressed.
Rebuilding Poland’s Population and Local Communities
Nawrocki also tackled the demographic crisis, advocating for policies that support families and encourage Poles abroad to return home. With over 20 million Poles living outside the country, he sees repatriation as a key solution.
“I’m working on a major program to bring Poles back home, help them settle, and become part of our national community again,”
he revealed.
He also promised to support local governments and restore critical infrastructure projects, including the Central Communication Port (CPK).
“My first initiative as president will be to ensure CPK moves forward and revive programs that support local communities,”
he promised.
