President Donald Trump is making it clear that America will no longer be taken advantage of in global trade. In a bold and necessary move, he has signed an executive order imposing new tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and China. Imports from Mexico and Canada will now face a 25% duty (with petroleum products taxed at 10%), while Chinese goods will see an additional 10% tariff. After decades of unfair trade policies that have crippled American industries and cost countless jobs, this is a long-overdue correction.
Global Outrage—But Why?
As expected, Mexico, Canada, and China are up in arms over the decision. Mexico and Canada have threatened retaliatory tariffs, while China is resorting to its usual political theatrics, vowing to take the matter to the World Trade Organization. These countries have enjoyed one-sided trade deals at America’s expense, and now President Trump is doing what past leaders failed to do: standing up for American economic interests.
Europe Could Be Next
Trump isn’t stopping there. Speaking to BBC reporters, he pointed out how the European Union refuses to buy American cars and agricultural products while dumping their own goods into the U.S. market. This hypocrisy has gone unchecked for too long. The President is making it clear that fair trade should be a two-way street, not a one-sided giveaway that only benefits foreign nations.
The Globalist Panic Mode
Of course, the globalist elite is in full panic mode. Donald Tusk, current Poland’s Prime Minister from the Civic Platform party, wasted no time condemning Trump’s policies. Tusk, who once ridiculously called Trump a “Russian agent,” now warns against so-called trade wars, calling them a “total misunderstanding.”
