Poland Betrayed: Tusk’s Government Surrenders to EU Migration Pact

Despite Donald Tusk’s loud assurances that Poland would resist, the truth has come out: Poland will be forced to accept migrants under the EU’s new Migration Pact. Even a politician from his own party, MEP Janusz Lewandowski, has admitted the harsh reality.

“We know that the Pact will come into effect in mid-2026,” Lewandowski confessed on RMF FM. “We failed to organize what is called a blocking minority. The countries that opposed it represented only 14% of the European Union.”

Empty Promises and Brussels’ Iron Grip

For months, Tusk’s government claimed Poland had a way out—citing the country’s hospitality towards Ukrainian refugees as a possible exemption. However, this has been completely dismissed by the European Commission.

In January 2025, in response to an inquiry from Polish MEP Marcin Sypniewski, Brussels made its position crystal clear: “Poland is bound by all legal provisions of the Migration Pact, and under EU law, there is no legal basis for excluding Poland from any part of its implementation.”

Forced Relocation: What It Means for Poland

This deal isn’t about solidarity—it’s about control. Brussels is imposing an artificial redistribution of migrants across member states, stripping nations of their right to manage their own borders. While Western European nations struggle with the consequences of mass migration, Poland is now being dragged into the same disaster.

What can we expect? More crime, growing social tensions, and public services stretched to their limits. Poland’s security and social stability are being gambled away by politicians who put Brussels before their own people.
